Obituary for R. D. Manus
Funeral services for R. D. Manus, age 68, of Olustee, Oklahoma, are scheduled for 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, November 24, 1992 at the Lowell Tims Funeral Home Chapel. Rev Douglas Faulknor will officiate. Burial will follow at the Restlawn Cemetery under the direction of Lowell Tims Funeral Home.
Mr. Manus passed away November 23, 1992 at the local hospital. He was born November 6, 1924 in Pauls Valley, Oklahoma to W.C. and Mazie Manus. He had served in World War II, was a member of the DAV, as well as the First Baptist Church in Olustee, Oklahoma. He had moved to Olustee seven years ago from Amarillo, TX.
Survivors include: two brothers, J.T. Manus and James Manus, both of Walnut Grove, CA; a sister, Jewell Ward of Olustee, Oklahoma; a host of nieces and nephews including: Gene and Doris Gifford and Manford and Donetta Steensgard, both of Altus, Oklahoma, Joyce Ward of Olustee, Oklahoma.
He was preceded in death by: his parents; two brothers and a sister.
