Phillip was born on August 24, 1984, in Logan County, West Virginia. He was raised and educated in the Altus public school system and graduated from Altus High School. He also attended SouthWest Technology Center. Phillip was a devoted Catholic. He loved Jesus Christ with all his heart and soul. He enjoyed attending services at Prince of Peace Catholic Church and worshipping with his family around him. Jesus Christ and the church were never far from Phillip’s mind as he covered his whole room in crosses and pictures of Jesus Christ.
Phillips favorite past times included watching storms and informing all his family when a storm was coming even when it was three hundred miles away, going to Disney with his sister, Desiree, playing video games, fishing, hunting for treasures with his metal detector, playing and roughhousing with his cat Toby, and he was always on the lookout of UFOs and was convinced if he just looked hard enough, he would find one. Of all the things Phillip enjoyed doing, the thing that meant the most to him was being around his family. To understand Phillip was to understand the love and devotion that he felt for his family.
Phillip’s final act was representative of how he lived his life, unselfish love, and compassion for others. His final act was the donation of his organs which has been used to save the lives of eight other people.
He was preceded in death by his Grandfathers, Santiago “Jim” Roblez, Frank Rinchich; Great-GrandMother, Lorrine Sanchez, and Cousin, Jaslyn Moncada.
Left to honor Phillips memory are, his Father, Martin Harmon; Mother, Rosemary Harmon; Brother, Christopher Rinchich and wife Jessica; Sister, Desiree Harmon and husband Jamie Colon; Nieces, Kallia, Aurora, Jayden, Madilyn; Nephew, Ezra; Grandparents, James and Lupe Harrison, Alice Rinchich, Aunts and Uncles, Anthony and Linda Mutchler, Arthur and Susan Smith, Melvin and Renee Mckinney, Virginia Frey, Godparents, Lou and Shannon Antonellis, and numerous cousins, to know Phillip was to adore him and love him, he will be greatly missed by all.
