Funeral services for Pablo M. Abila, 60, of Altus are scheduled for Saturday, July 24, at 10:00am. Services will be held at Lowell-Tims Chapel with burial to follow at the Altus Cemetery. Larry Ortega will officiate. Mr. Abila passed away July 21 in Lawton. Mr. Abila was born June 20,, 1933 in Hutto, Texas to Pedro and Anacleta Albia. He married Elizabeth Lopez September 4, 1974 in Vernon, Texas. Mr. Abila was a veteran of the Air Force and was retired from civil service, and an active member of the V.F.W. Lowell-Tims Funeral Home is n charge of funeral arrangements. Survivors include mother Anacleta Correa of Altus; wife Elizabeth Lopez Abila of the home; children, Adolph Abila of Atlus; Paul Abila and Scarlett of Mobile, Alabama; Armando Abila, of Bay City Michigan; Rachel Alcorta of Altus; Paulette Hernandez and Julian, of Altus; Ruben Abila of Altus; brother Esperanza Garza of Denton, Texas; Librada Martinez of Austin, Texas; six grandchildren.
Preceded in death by two brothers and three sisters and his father.
