Altus businessman O.L."Bill" Corley died Sunday. funeral services will be held wednesday at 2:00pm at the First Baptist Church officiated by Rev. Melvin Moody. Burial will be in the Altus cemetery under the direction of Lowell-Tims Funeral HOme, 1100 East Tamarack Road.

Corley was born April 23, 1922 near Temple, Texas. He was the son of Arthur and Rachel Corley. He moved to Durant, Oklahoma as a young child and attended school there. He attended Murray State College at Tishamingo, southwestern State University at Weatherford, and Midwestern University at Wichita Falls, Texas.

He married Jacquelyn Pierot (Pero) at Durant, Oklahoma December 20, 1941. He served in the Field Artillery and Medical Corps during World War II. Corley was a member of the American Legion, DAV, Past Member of Advisory Board of Salvation Army, Advisory board of RSVP, Rotary International, Lions Club, and Altus Chamber of Commerce. He had been in the Real Estate business in Altus since 1973 and was a member of local, state, and national Boards of Realtors and worked for many years as a wholesale drug and sundry salesman calling on many stores in Oklahoma and Texas. He was a member of the First Baptist Church where he had served as a Fifth Grade Sunday School teacher and worked with FCA and the Homebound Departments.

Survivors include; his wife Jacquelyn Corley of the home; one son, Bob Corley of Oklahoma
City, Oklahoma; two daughters, Carol of Des Monies, Iowa; Peggy of Durant, Oklahoma; one sister, Beulah Rice of Durant, Oklahoma; two brothers and sisters-in-law; Steve and Maggie Corley and Kenneth and Helen Corley all of Durant, Oklahoma
