Othor States Hunt age 78, of Altus, Oklahoma died May 27, 1967 at Memorial Hospital in Altus, Oklahoma. He was born March 10, 1967 in Granite to Thomas Luther and (Windham).. Othor married Mary Mitiulda Stevens August 5, 1921 in Prentiss, Oklahoma. He worked for the Bureau of reclamation for 14 years. Othor served during World War I. He was a member of the Church of Christ. Othor had lived in southwest Oklahoma since 1947.
Services for Othor S. Hunt are scheduled for Wednesday, May 31, 1967 at 2:00pm in Tims Chapel, Altus, officiated by Rev. C. L. Abercrombie. Burial will follow at Lone Oak Cemetery, Sayre, Oklahoma under the direction of Tims Funeral Home.
Othor States Hunt is survived by his wife Mary of the home; six daughters, Mrs. Vasto Lee Long, Plano, Texas; Mrs. Juannema Ferguson, Siloam Springs, Arkansas; Mrs. Rudean Carothers, Granite, Oklahoma; Mrs. Adelwis Sheeby, Eva Beach, Hawaii; Mrs. Rita Jean Adcock, Plano, Texas; Mrs. Shron Jones, Cordell, Oklahoma; one son, Othor C. Hunt of the home; eleven grandchildren, two great-grandchildren; one brother and five sisters.
