Ora Lano Moore, age 86 of Altus, died March 18, 1966 in Memorial Hospital Altus, Oklahoma. She was born July 9, 1879 in Lano County, Texas to Lewis and Mahala Jane Thompson. Her parents homesteaded in Old Greer County Texas. She married Lee Moore and he preceded her in death February 20, 1937.
Funeral services for Ora Moore are scheduled for March 20,1966 2:00pm. at Tims Chapel in Altus with Rev. Burt Miller officiating. Burial will follow in the Cottonwood cemetery in Duke, Oklahoma, under the direction of Tims Funeral Home.
Mrs Ora Moore is survived by two sons, Roy Moore, Duke, Oklahoma; Roland Moore, Duke, Oklahoma; one daughter, Pearl Hatter, Altus, Oklahoma; seven grandchildren, sixteen grandchildren, one brother Randy Grundy Thompson, Roby, Texas one sister, Thena Lockee, Japan.
Mrs. Moore was preceded in death by two sons, Tommy and Hubert.
