Obituary for Opal S. Junell
Mrs. Ray "Opal" Junell, age 60, of 70-0 Chris, died Saturday morning at her home following an illness of several months.
Funeral services have been set for 2:00 P.M., Tuesday afternoon at Lowell Memorial Chapel, officiated by the Reverend Carl McCoy. Burial will be at Altus City Cemetery under direction of Lowell Funeral Home.
Born April 15th, 1917 in Stringtown, Oklahoma she was married in 1949 at Canyon, Texas to Ray Junell who survives of the home.
Additional survivors include: three sons, Johnnie McDowell of Ft. Walton Beach, FL, Monty McDowell of Amarillo, TX and Donnie McDowell of Norman, OK; two brothers, Mr. Gonnie Warren of Independence, MI and Mr. Tommie Warren of Seattle, WA; a half-brother, Mr. J.V. Warren of Amarillo, TX; two sisters, Mrs. Addie Torrance of Altus, Mrs. Jeane Throneberry of Amarillo, TX and a half-sister, Louise Warren of Pampa, Texas; a step-sister, Mrs. Beatrice Werner of Amarillo; six grandchildren.
