Obituary for Nell Walker
Nell (Denton) Walker, formerly of Altus, died July 18, 2003. She was born on June 4, 1920 in Harmon County. She was married to Sidney (Speedy) Walker who preceded her in death on December 6, 1985. She was a caring person with so much love for her family. She lived in Harmon and Jackson counties all her life. Due to her failing health she moved to Seguin, Texas to be with her only child.

There will be a graveside service at Fairmount Cemetery in Hollis on Monday at 11:00am. There will be a family visitation at Tims funeral Home Sunday Night.

She is also preceded in death by her parents Mr. and Mrs. Jess Van Denton, and a son-in-law James Atkins.

She is survived by daughter Jessie Atkins of Seguin; granddaughters Turena and Red Brackenridge of Bun Barrel, Texas, Cindy and Mike Hauer of Seguin, Jody and Kenny Just of Cedar Hill, Texas, grandson; Bron Brackenridge of Hamilton, Texas; nine great- grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; sisters Audie Bell Buchcanan of Hollis, Ruby Forbes of Altus; brother John Denton of Blair, Oklahoma, and Woodrow Denton of Hollis, Oklahoma and several nieces and nephews.
