Nedra Louise Brinkman, 83, a resident of Mangum, Oklahoma passed away on March 5, 2024, in Mangum. Nedra was born on November 27, 1940, to Ernest Thomson and Edith Alexander Thompson in Mangum, Oklahoma. Nedra attended Ladessa High School in 1958. After high school, Nedra became a home health nurse. Nedra was incredibly loving and caring, exemplified in her personal and professional life as a home health nurse. Nedra was a devoted member of the First United Methodist Church in Mangum. If the church doors were open, you could find her there volunteering in any way possible.
Nedra is preceded in death by her parents; Sons, Marty Brinkman and Brad Brinkman; and Daughter, April Brinkman.
Left to honor her memory are her sons, Bryan Brinkman, and Marlin Brinkman; Sister, Mona Thompson Elliott; Grandchildren, Caleb Brinkman, Hallie Brinkman, Dalton Brinkman, Austin Brinkman, Layla Brinkman, and Jarod Brinkman; Great Grandchildren, Ember Brinkman and Asher Brinkman; Nephew, Jimmy Elliot; Niece Junita Reeves; as well as many extended family members and friends.
