Obituary for Myrtle M. Pettyjohn
Myrtle M. Pettyjohn age 95 of Altus, Oklahoma died October 9, 1969 at Memorial Hospital in Altus. She was born November 27, 1873 in Parker County Texas to J. R. and Laura (Hacket) Braselton. She married T. R. Pettyjohn, he preceded her in death July 20, 1938. She had been a resident of southwest Oklahoma since 1953.

Funeral services for Myrtle M. Pettyjohn are scheduled for 9:00am Saturday October 11, 1969 in Tims Chapel officiated by Rev. C.L. Abercrombie. Burial will follow in the Cox Cemetery under the direction of Tims Funeral Home.

Myrtle M. Pettyjohn is survived by three daughters, Mrs. B. B. Maxwell, West Helena, Arkansas; Mrs. J.P. Bermingham, Abilene, Texas; Mrs. C. M. Pumroy, Altus, Oklahoma. eight grandchildren seven great-grandchildren, three great-great-grandchildren J.P. Pettyjohn, Ft. Worth, Texas; one sister Mrs. J. M. Smith, Weatherford, Texas.
