Obituary for Murldean Nease Rudd
Murldean Nease Rudd, 91, longtime resident of Elmer, Oklahoma passed away August 15, 2019 at Jackson County Memorial Hospital in Altus, Oklahoma.
Murldean was born October 12, 1927 in Blair, Oklahoma to Hobart R. and Mae (Gardner) Nease. She graduated from Victory High School in 1945. On August 17, 1946 she married Byrl E. Rudd in Vernon, Texas. She worked as a Teacher's aid from Southside School for ten years, then she went to work for Southside farm supply for seventeen years. Murldean was a longtime member of Elmer United Methodist Church. She served as assistant pianist, treasurer, and was a Sunday School teacher. Murldean was also a member of the Elmer Order of the Eastern Star. She enjoyed sewing, reading but most of all she enjoyed spending time with her family.
She was preceded in death by her Parents, her husband, Byrl E. Rudd, four brothers; Larry, Stanley, John and Donald Nease.
Murldean is survived by Sons; Lynn Rudd of Elmer, Oklahoma, Max and Diann Rudd of Perkins, Oklahoma, Grandchildren; Benton and Dr. Jennifer Rudd of Perkins, Kyle and Allison Dollins of Independence, Kansas, Jamison and Donegan Rudd of Boston, Massachusetts, Great-Grandchildren; Harrison Rudd, Calvin Rudd, Cory William Dollins, Nieces; Karen Rakowski, Kristi Brock, and a Nephew; David Nease.
Memorials may be made to the Elmer United Methodist Church or to the Charity of your choice.
Funeral Services will be 2:00 p.m., Saturday, August 17, 2019 at Lowell -Tims Funeral Chapel, Altus, Oklahoma. Burial will follow at Altus City Cemetery.
