Mollie Choate age 89 of Elmer, Oklahoma died in Memorial Hospital, Altus, Oklahoma, May 30, 1964. She was born June 25, 1874 in McEwin, Tennessee to Nick Pealer. She married Sam H. Choate in 1929 and he preceded her in death April 20, 1939.
Funeral services for Mollie Choate are scheduled for June 1, 1964, 10:00am in the Tims Chapel, Altus, Oklahoma officiated by Cecil Lanning of Wheeler, Texas. Burial will follow in the Altus Cemetery under the direction of Tims Funeral Home.
Mollie Choate is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Rosa Marcy, Mangum, Oklahoma; Mrs Jennel Sanders, Altus, Oklahoma; Mrs. Lillie Harden, Olustee, Oklahoma; three sons, John L. Choate, Elmer, Oklahoma; Robert L. Choate, Elmer, Oklahoma; Sam Choate, Altus, Oklahoma; 12 grandchildren, five great-grandchildren; three sisters Mrs. Jim May, Crandall, Texas; Mrs Will Baker, Texas; Mrs. Frank Morrell, Atoka, Oklahoma.
