Obituary for Michael Roscoe Barker
MICHAEL ROSCOE BARKER Mike was born October 17, 1949 at Blair, Oklahoma. He was the son of Roscoe and the late Ruth (Hawkins) Barker. He died on March 30, 2000 at Blair. Mike married Etta ValLance on March 19, 1990 in Frederick, Oklahoma Mike was a member of the First Baptist Church of Blair, he was retired from the Oklahoma National Guard and enjoyed small engine repairs and woodworking. Services are scheduled for 11 AM Monday, April 3, 2000 at the First Baptist Church of Blair with Rev. Randy Mitchell officiating. Interment will follow at the Blair Cemetery under the direction of Lowell-Tims funeral Home. Survivors include: Wife Etta Barker Cordell, Oklahoma Father Roscoe Barker Blair, Oklahoma 1 Son Michael Wayne Barker Blair, Oklahoma 2 Step Daughters Felicia Hendricks Cordell, Oklahoma Nannette Hendricks Cordell, Oklahoma 3 Sisters Dawn Hayes Blair, Oklahoma Rhonda & Pat Wallace Blair, Oklahoma Cindy Eason Mesa, Arizona 1 Brother Glen and Glenda Barker Altus, Oklahoma 1 Grandson Tyler Weixel Cordell, Oklahoma A host of nieces nephews and many friends. Mike was preceded in death by his mother, Ruth Barker, a sister, Linda Cargal and l nephew, Zach Hayes. Lowell-Tims Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
