Michael Audrey Avery was born May 22, 1957, to Melvin Avery and Alice Snipes Avery in Mangum. He passed away on March 24, 2026, at the Mangum City Hospital at the age of 68. He was a resident of Mangum, Oklahoma.
Mike attended Mangum Schools and was a graduate of Mangum High School in the class of 1975. After graduation, he married Bonnie McKinley of Altus, Oklahoma, and had one son, Brice.
He lived in Oklahoma City for many years and moved back to Mangum due to ill health. He loved to fish and hunt; Mike was an avid reader and liked searching for old coins.
Mike was preceded in death by his father, Melvin.
He is survived by his Mother, Alice; His brother, Joe Wayne; His son, Brice Parker, and wife Joy; and two grandsons, Mason and Tyson Parker.
