Obituary for May Constable Martin
May Constable Martin, born in London, England on December 6th, 1893, emigrated to Canada in 1916 where she married Alfred Rogers. He died in 1921 and she moved to Rochester, NY. Her husband, Charles Martin, preceded her in death in 1957 and a son, Alfred, preceded her death in 1976. After her retirement from Eastman Kodak Co. she moved to Altus in 1968.
Survivors include: a son, Robert N. Sidmore of Fairport, NY; a daughter-in-law, Mary Rodgers of Rochester, NY; a daughter, Mary R. Phelan of Altus; grandsons, William "Skip" Phelan of Oklahoma City, Stuart "Pat" of San Diego, CA; John A. from Mangum, OK; Alfred Rodgers of Rochester, NY ; a granddaughter, Monica Rodgers of Rochester, NY; two great-grandchildren.
Services have been set for 2:00 P.M., June 10, 1984 at Lowell Memorial Chapel. Burial will be in the Altus City Cemetery under the direction of Lowell Funeral Home.
