Obituary for Mavis K. Stebbens
Mavis K. Stebbens, 86, Altus, passed away at her home on Saturday, March 6th, 2021.

Mavis was born on March 12th, 1934 tin Grendan Warwickshire, England, to John and Esther Villiers. On September 25th, 1956 she married William L. Stebbens, to that union they had two children.

Mavis was a partner in Hope with St. Judes for 50 years. She was a member of St. Paul's Episcopal Church in Altus for 30 years.

She was preceded in death by her husband Bill, parents John and Esther and 3 sisters; June, Tina and Elaine. She is survived by her children Rick Stebbens and wife Doris, Debbie Hammock and her husband Rick, grandchildren Kim, Jeff and wife Mary and Drew. Great grandchildren Jason and Clara. She is also survived by her very best friend Christine Westover, two sisters Pauline and Maureen, nieces, nephews and great-nieces and nephew.

Memorial contributions may be made to St. Judes Childrens Research in Mavis' name.

Celebration of Life services will be at 10:00 am on Thursday, March 11, 2021 at the St. Paul's Episcopal Church in Altus with Reverend Suzanne Mollison presiding.
