Obituary for Marylan Kathryn Rose
Marylan Rose, age 74 of Altus, Oklahoma and formerly of Duncan, Oklahoma, passed away Saturday, February 6, 2021 at the Magnolia Creek Nursing Home in Altus.
Marylan was born in Waurika, Oklahoma on December 4, 1946 to her parents Mark and Mary (Rose) Atkins. Marylan grew up in Louisiana, Arizona, and Oklahoma. She worked in nursing home care and she loved her grandchildren and her great grandchildren very much and Marylan always treasured spending time with them.
Preceded in death her parents; one son, Mart Douglas Higginbotham; one daughter, Kathryn Hooper; one brother, Anthony Atkins; and one granddaughter, Crystal Higginbotham; Marylan is survived by her soulmate, Antonio Gonzales; two daughters, Donna Diane Webb and husband Kevin of Altus; and Diane Espinso of Duncan; grandchildren, Martha Payne and husband James of Altus; Jonathan Skitt of Altus; Isis Gonzales; Auron Gonzales; Christina Patton and husband Chad of Texas; Kayla Higginbotham of Texas; Justing Long; and Sofia; great grandchildren, Dustyn and Makenzi Payne; Ashton Kline; Lainey and Kaylee Patton; Kaydince Snyder; Reagan Higginbotham; and William Morris; as well as numerous nieces and nephews, other family members, and friends.
