Mary Priscilla Stayton was born January, 2, 1906 in Illinois. She died Saturday October 5, 1991 at the English Village Nursing Home. She married W.W. (Bill) Stayton June 13, 1936 in Weatherford, Oklahoma and he preceded her in death September 21. 1958. She was a retired school teacher having taught in the Altus school System from 1945 to 1970 at Wilson school. She graduated from Weatherford High School then from Southwestern Oklahoma State University. She was a member of the Oklahoma Teachers Association and a member of the First Christian Church,

Services are scheduled for 10 am Wednesday, October 9, 1991 at the Lowell Tims Chapel with Rev. Dave Brummett officiating. Interment will be in the Restlawn Cemetery under the direction of the Lowell-Tims Funeral Home.

Mrs Stayton is survived by two grandchildren, Greg Dickson of Tacoma, Washington; Stephanie Detmar of South Lyons, Kansas; sisters, Shell Elizabeth Mark, Clarendon Hills, Illinois; Mrs Earl Wilson.

Mrs Stayton was preceded in death by her parents, husband, W.W. (Bill) Stayton, 1958; daughter Shella Stayton, 1985.
