Obituary for Mary Jo Copeland
Mary Jo Copeland was born September 3, 1932 in Altus Oklahoma. She was the daughter of the late Leo and Mary Vestal Grace Clark. She died September 10, in Altus, Oklahoma. She married Glenn Copeland July 9, 1968. She owned and operated the Classic Beauty Salon from 1967-1992. She was a long time member of the 1st Baptist 'church of Altus. She was a long time member of the 1st Baptist Church of Altus. She was a avid supporter of Altus High and Western Heights. She was a life long resident to Altus and Jackson County.
Funeral services are scheduled for 10am Friday, September12, 1997 at the Lowell-Tims Chapel with Dr. C.E. Garrison officiating.
Interment will follow in the Altus Cemetery under the direction of Lowell-Tims Funeral Home.
The family will greet friends and visitors Thursday September 11, 1997 from 7-9-pmat Lowell-Tims Funeral Home.
Memorials in honor of Mary Jo Capeland may be made to the Jackson County Hospice.


Survivors include her husband Glenn D. Copeland of Altus, Oklahoma; children, Boone and Kim
Copeland son and Dil of Edmond, Rocky Copeland, son, of Edmond, Oklahoma; daughter Kelly law of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; brother Charles Clark and Dorothy of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; six grandchildren great grandchildren Casey and Jonathan Copeland and Darissa, Melissa, Jordan and Micha Law; survived by aunt, Vonne Salmons of Altus, and a number of nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death by mother and father, Leo and Mary Vestal Clark Brother Wayne Clark.
