Mary Francis Cross, 74, of Altus, Oklahoma, died Saturday, September 16, 1995 as the results of an automobile accident south of Altus.
Mary was born May 9, 1921, in Lubbock Texas, the daughter of the late Kellis and Katie (Lloyd) Wright.
On February 5, 1940, Mary and Roy G. Cross were united in marriage at Sayer, Oklahoma. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother and a devoted member of the First United Methodist Church.
Mary was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, James Marcus Wright. She is survived by Roy, her husband of 55 years; one daughter and son-in-law, Katie (Cross) and Robert Tipton of Duncan, Oklahoma; one granddaughter, Georganna Tipton of Dallas, Texas; one aunt, Lorena E. Hughes of Stigler, Oklahoma; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
