Obituary for Mary Alice Ruzicka
Mary Alice Ruzicka, age 59, of Altus, Oklahoma died at the Altus AFB Hospital on Monday, August 17th, 1992 following a lengthy illness.
Services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Thursday at the First United Pentecostal Church officiated by Rev. Lionel Mounce. Burial will follow in the Altus City Cemetery under the direction of Lowell Tims Funeral Home.
Born August 31st, 1932 at Hennepin, Oklahoma she was the daughter of Lester and Esta Jones. She attended school at Humphrey graduating in 1950. She married Jim Ruzicka on April 7, 1962 in Altus. Mary did bookkeeping for her husband at Rent City for several years and was associated with Main Cleaners for over 34 years. She was a member of the First United Pentecostal Church.
Survivors include: her husband, Jim Ruzicka of the home in Altus, OK; six step-children, James K. Ruzicka and James T. Ruzicka of Altus, OK, Jannette Burright of Victorville, CA, Tami Petrecello of Sun City, AZ, Jeanie Ruzicka of Riverside, CA and Jammie Ruzicka of Rhome, NY; a brother, Ivan Jones of Altus, OK; two sisters, Nell McCulley of Fontana, CA and Margaret Dickinson of Carney, OK; 15 step-grandchildren; 2 step-great-grandchildren; two grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by: her Mother, Esta Cowden Jones (1987); Father, Lester Jones (1983); two brothers, Donald Jones (1929) and Gene Jones (1983).
