Obituary for Mary Alice Carpenter
Mrs. Mary Alice Carpenter, age 79, of Duke, OK died Saturday, May 22nd, 1971 at the Lawton Memorial Hospital.

Funeral services will be held at the Duke Baptist Church, Monday, May 24, 1971, 2:30 P.M. with the Reverend Everett Smalts officiating. Burial will be in the Duke Cemetery under direction of Lowell Funeral Home.

Mrs. Carpenter was married to William T. Carpenter. He preceded her in death in 1949.

She is survived by: one sister, Mrs. Bertha Bearden of Duke, OK; five nieces, Mrs. Nell Fanning of Roanoke, TX, Mrs. Cecil Leonard and Mrs. Tom Green, of Duke, Mrs. I. V. Owen, Mrs. Arthur Brown of Iowa Park; one nephew, Monty Bearden.
