Obituary for Mary A. Inglis
Mary Ann Inglis, age 93 of Altus, Oklahoma passed away Saturday, September 4, 1999 at Jackson County Memorial Hospital. She was born February 18, 1906 in Figure 5, Arkansas to the late Othello John and Cora (Allen) Hill.
On June 12, 1929 in Paris, Texas Mary Ann and J. B. Inglis were united in marriage. J.B. preceded her in death on July 4, 1990. Mary Ann worked at the Petite Shop as a Sales Clerk for fifteen years before retiring. She was one of the oldest members of the First Christian Church in Altus.
Funeral services are scheduled for Thursday, September 9, 1999 at 10:00am at the First Christian Church with Rev. Barry Worcester officiating. Interment will follow in the Restlawn Cemetery under the direction of Lowell-Tims Funeral Home.
She is survived by two children; Ann Brinkman and husband John of Lone Wolf, Oklahoma, John Inglis and wife Cheri of Abilene, Texas, two brothers, Hugh Hall and wife Wanda of
Miami, Oklahoma, Ed Hall and wife Dorothy of Muskogee, Oklahoma, one sister, Minnie Alice Davis of Tucson, Arizona; four grandchildren; Saidja Inglis, Angela McCoy, Caryn Amelung, Mary Rose Inglis; one great grandchild, Chelby Taylor Hanks.
She is preceded in death by her parents, husband J.B. Inglis, one son Dan Alan Inglis, two brothers, James Hall and Bret Hall.
