Obituary for Martha Kathleen Schnorrenberg
Martha Kathleen Schnorrenberg was born November 23, 1902 at Hillsborough, Texas to Randolph and Anna Mae Rooker. She died December 13th, 1992 in Altus, Oklahoma. She married Forrest Schnorrenberg on March 9, 1925 and he preceded her in death in 1972. She was a long time resident of Altus and Jackson County having resided here since 1916. She was a Music Teacher in Warren and Friendship communities for 44 years. She was the first teacher to be selected as Jackson County Teacher of the Year. She was a Baptist, a member of the Ladies Auxiliary, Eastern Star, and member of the Retired Teachers Association.

Services are scheduled for 2 P.M. Wednesday, December 16, 1992 at the Lowell Tims Funeral Home Chapel with Ardron Hinton officiating. Interment will be in the Altus Cemetery under the direction of Lowell Tims Funeral Home.

Survivors include: three brothers, Bob Rooker of Altus, OK, Charles Rooker of El Paso, TX and James Rooker of Puyallup, WA.

She was preceded in death by: her parents; her husband, Forrest Schnorrenberg (1972); two brothers; two sisters.
