Obituary for Maria Albina Delgadillo
Maria A. Delgadillo, 58, of Altus, passed away Friday, June 13, 2008, at her home in Altus.
Maria was born March 1, 1950 in Bellevue, Texas to Manual and Dominga (Reyna) Longoria. She grew up in Texas and married in Altus, Oklahoma. She and her family moved to Michigan where they lived until 1976. As a young woman on her own with six children, Maria moved back to Altus to be with other family members. She worked hard raising her children and working in Housekeeping for many families in Altus. Maria married Rodolfo Delgadillo in 1996 in Las Vegas, Nevada. She loved to read, decorate and paint her home, and spend time with her grandchildren.
She was a faithful member of the Templo Sinai Assembly of God Church in Altus where she met the Lord after her illness.
Maria is survived by her loving husband, Rudy Delgadillo of the home in Altus; her children, Rose Linda Tovar of Yukon, Angela Dina Tovar and husband Joe of Altus, Kathy Miller and Jim of Altus, edward Gonzales and wife Melissa of Fort Jackson, South Carolina, Rogelio Gonzales and wife Naomi of Garland, Texas, and Erasmo Gonzales and wife Leticia of Altus; her mother, Dominga Reyna of Altus; her brothers and sisters, Gloria Smart, Berta Delgado, Cecilia Hensley, Elvida Bowen, Stephen Longoria, Helen Longoria, Lucy Torres, Minga Graham, Robert Longoria, Johnny Frescas and Ruben Frescas. Twenty-three grandchildren and five great-grandchildren also survive her.
Her father, Manual Longoria and four brothers, Billy Longoria, Charlie Longoria, Sammy Longoria and Timothy Longoria preceded Maria in death.
