Obituary for Marguerite Andrews
Marguerite (Purcell) Andreas was born March 10th, 1921 at Mangum, Oklahoma. She died March 7th, 1992 at the Baptist Hospital in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. She married Harold Andreas, Sr. March 16, 1940 at Olustee, OK. Marguerite had worked with Dr. Bennett Wray for 33 years. She was a longtime resident of Altus, having resided here since 1940. She was a member of the Tabernacle Baptist Church, AARP, the Rebekah Lodge where she served in various offices.
Services are scheduled for 2 p.m., Tuesday, March 10, 1992 at the Tabernacle Baptist Church with Rev. Richard McDole officiating. Interment will be in the Restlawn Cemetery under the direction of Lowell Tims Funeral Home.
Survivors include: her husband, Harold Andreas of Altus, OK; one son, Harold Andreas, Jr. and his wife Karen of Duncan, OK; one sister, Octava Sunderland of Altus, OK; two grandchildren, Josh and Keaton Andreas; nephew, Don Kincannon of Stillwater, OK.
She was preceded in death by: her parents; a sister, Lucille Hall.
