Marcus Aurelius Moore age 90, of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma died August 9, 1967 at Veteran's Hospital, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Marcus was born December 14, 1876 in Homer, Louisiana to Creighton Moore. Marcus married Frances Lena Moore , she preceded him in death June 11, 1965.Marcus enlisted in 1898 and fought in the Spanish American War with the First Louisiana Infantry. Marcus had lived in Lawton for the past 2 years, previous living in Snyder, Oklahoma.

Services for Marcus Aurelius Moore are scheduled Friday, August 11, 1898 in Tims Chapel at 2:00pm under the direction of Tims Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Altus Cemetery under the direction of Tims Funeral Home.

Marcus Aurelius Moore is survived by several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by two children one in 1916 and 1918.
