Obituary for Manuel Castor Hernandez
Manuel "Gilbert" Castor Hernandez, age 60, of Altus, passed away October 6, 2004.
He was born April 11, 1944 in Viesca, Coahuila to Eusebio Castor and Manuela Hernandez.
Gilbert had lived in the Altus area for the last 15 years. He was working for Earl Abernathy Farms at the time of his death.
He is survived by three daughters, Manuela Castor of Kansas, Jane Castor of Abilene, Texas and Julie Castor of Houston, Texas; one step-daughter, Sylvia Brookman of San Angelo, Texas; one son who lives in Mexico; three sisters, Lupe Castor, Emma Castor, Antonia Castor, all from Mexico; nine grandchildren and a host of ther relatives and many friends.
Services for Gilbert will be in Matamoros, Couhuila, Mexico. Local arrangements are under the direction of Lowell-Tims Funeral Home.
