Obituary for Maggie Louise Choate
Mrs. Maggie Louise Choate, age 78, 1515 Canterbury Blvd., Altus, died Friday, May 27th, 1977 at the English Village Nursing Home.
Funeral services have been set for 2:30 P.M., Sunday at the First Baptist Church in Altus, with the Reverend Keith Wiginton officiating. Burial will be in the Altus City Cemetery under the direction of Tims Funeral Home.
Mrs. Choate was born in Gainesville, Texas on September 20, 1898 and she married F. L. Choate on April 18, 1915. He preceded her in death on December 10, 1947.
Survivors include: four daughters: Mrs. James "Oletha" Sapp of Atlanta, GA, Mrs. Bill "Moray" Smith, Mrs. Ray "Margie" Smith and Mrs. Dale "Viona" Dowdy of Edmond, OK; three sisters, Margie Laing of Topeka, KS, Alice Gillespie of O'Donald, Texas and Ardena Harrison of Anadarko, OK; two brothers, Fred Colloham of Frederick, OK and Cecil Colloham of Nashville, AR.
