Obituary for Mabel A. Coppock
Mabel A. Coppock, age 79, was born December 6th, 1914, in McNab, Arkansas, the daughter of Orin (Iron) and Mary (Neal) Willett. Mrs. Coppock passed away Saturday, June 11th, 1994 in the Jackson County Memorial Hospital in Altus, Oklahoma, after a lengthy illness. On January 2, 1936, she and Roy Coppock were united in marriage at Hope, Arkansas. Mr. and Mrs. Coppock came to Altus, Oklahoma in 1978, from Duke, OK. Mrs. Coppock was a Baptist.
Graveside Services will be at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, June 14, 1994, in the Altus City Cemetery with Rev. W.F. Hathaway, Jr. of the Grace United Methodist Church, officiating. Burial will follow in the Altus City Cemetery under the direction of Lowell Tims Funeral Home.
Survivors include: her husband, Roy Coppock of the home; two children , Herman Coppock of Altus, OK and Mary Carter of Elko, NV; two brothers, Joe Willett and Henry Willett of Hope, Arkansas; three sisters, Polly Moody of Quitman, TX, Annie Smith of Sun City, AZ and Ruby Littleton of Texarkana, TX; seven grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by: one brother, John Willett.
