He is survived by his parents Lawrence Coats and Loretta Hunter; one brother Larry Coats. Grandparents, Mr. and Mrs Jimmy Hunter, Frederick, and Mr. & Mrs J.B. Coats, of Altus and great grandparent Mrs. Jessie Johnson, Pendleton, Oregon

Graveside services will be held January 7, 1983 at 10:00 at the Altus City Cemetery officiated by Rev. C.L. Abercrombie. Arrangements are under the direction of Tims Funeral Home, Altus.
