Former Altus resident, Lou Whilden Watts age 85, of Lincoln, Nebraska, was born April 21, 1910, in South Carolina, the daughter of the late Robert A. and Beulah Long Williams. Mrs. Watts passed away Wednesday, August, 9, 1995, in Lincoln, Nebraska after a lengthy illness. Funeral services will be at 10:00am Monday, August 14, 1995, in the Glad Tidings Assembly of God Church with Rev. Alex Maldonado officiating. Burial will be in the Martha Cemetery under the direction of Lowell-Tims Funeral Home, Altus. On November 9, 1935, she and Herman Watts were united in marriage at Mangum, Oklahoma. Mr. Watts preceded her in death. She was a member of the Glad Tidings Assembly of God Church in Altus.
Survivors include children; Darrell Watts and wife Lois of Lincoln, N; Robert Watts and wife Alva of Nashville, N.C.; brothers Howard Williams of Benton, Ark.; sisters Marian Bingaman of Altus, Oklahoma; Sarah Callaway of Stillwater, Oklahoma; Clara Hathcoat of Benton, Arkansas; Francis Jo Ahlf of Searcey, Ark.; six grandchildren.
Preceded in death by parents, husband, Herman 2 brothers and 2 isters.
