Obituary for Lottie Jewell Plew
Lottie Jewell Plew, age 92, passed away January 11, 2004 at Sienna Care Center in Odessa, Texas. She was born June 22, 1911 to W.J. and Lottie Black. She was the oldest of 7 children. She married Guy Plew, June 11, 1930; he preceded her in death in 1979. She was a member of Westwood Baptist Church in Odessa, Texas. Jewell was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one son Norman Plew, one brother and one sister.
Jewell is survived by her daughter Nadine Pierce of Odessa, Texas; seven grandchildren, Jerry Plew of Bentonville, AR, Cynthia Pickering of Sterling, CO, Steve Plew of Altus, OK, Guy Plew of Wichita Falls, Texas, Belinda Alley of Odessa, Texas, Charlotte Lyons of Odessa, Texas, Kim Pierce of Odessa, Texas; 11 great-grandchildren; four brothers, O.W. Black of Horatio, AR, Conan and Delmus Black both of Magnolia, AR and Denman Black of Waldo, AR.
Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, January 14, 2004 at Lowell-Tims Funeral Chapel, with Bro Denver McGuire officiating. Interment will follow at Riverside Cemetery in Mangum, Oklahoma, under the direction of Lowell-Tims Funeral Home.
