Obituary for Lisa Maupin
Elizabeth "Lisa" Maupin, age 49 of Altus, Oklahoma, passed away Friday, August 28, 2020 at Integris Southwest Medical Center in Oklahoma City.
Lisa was born in Friona, Texas on July 30, 1971 to her parents Prajedis Villarreal and Santos (Contreras) Villarreal. Lisa grew up in Altus and on July 29, 2007 she married Doug Maupin in Altus and they have enjoyed over 16 years together and over 13 years of marriage. She worked for the Southwest Community Action over 15 years and was currently working at Altus Air Force Base as a member of the A-Team. Lisa was a member of the Door Church in Altus and she enjoy being a part of The Door Church family. Lisa was always the life of the party and she always had a smile. She loved dancing and having a good time. The most important part of Lisa's life was spending time with her family and especially her grandkids. She never met a stranger and Lisa made friends everywhere she went and she will be truly missed by everyone.
Lisa is survived by her husband Doug Maupin of their home in Altus; her father Oscar Morales; three daughters, Margarita Alcorta and her fiance John Revord; Cassandra Alcorta-Huckaby and her husband Austin; and Marissa Aguero and her fiance Francisco Alvarez; two sons, Paul "P.J" Alcorta; and Mason Brand; six sisters, Delia Hussain; Patsy Blonien; Nora Villarreal; Lucy Villarreal; Monica Cox; and Cindy Villarreal; two brothers, Jr. Villarreal; and Oscar Villarreal; ten grandchildren, Gloria, Abygael, Kyerra, Sophia, Armani, Teegan, Isabella, Ariel, Maddox, and Jenna; as well as many nieces and nephews, numerous other family members and friends.
Lisa was preceded in death by her parents, Prajedis and Santos Villarreal and her sister, Elvia Luera.
The family will greet friends at visitation from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm, Tuesday evening, September 1, 2020 at Lowell-Tims Funeral Home in Altus.
Funeral services will be at 10:00 am on Wednesday, September 2, 2020 at Lowell-Tims Funeral Chapel in Altus.
Interment will follow at the Altus City Cemetery under the direction of Lowell-Tims Funeral Home and Crematory, Altus.
