Obituary for Lisa Ann Glidewell

Lisa Ann Glidewell, resident of Altus, Oklahoma, formerly of Wylie, Texas, passed away on the morning of January 26th, 2024, while at her home at the age of fifty-six.

On July 18th, 1967, in Quanha, Texas, Ronnie Lynn and Myra Sue Hanners rejoiced at the birth of their baby girl. Lisa graduated from Duke high school in 1985. Following graduation Lisa married Joe Adkins. This marriage was blessed with two beautiful daughters, Samantha and Larissa. She went on to become an owner and operator of her own daycare. Lisa loved working with kids and had a talent for it. She knew one day she wanted to be a mother. On February 13, 2003, in Las Vegas, Nevada, Lisa married the love of her life and other half Jason Lester Glidewell. Together they lived in Wylie, Texas before making Altus, Oklahoma their home. Soon after marriage, Lisa became a homemaker. She wanted to make sure her family was well taken care of and loved. Their 21 years together blessed them with their daughters as well as their grandchildren. Lisa loved being a mother and grandmother. Her family was her happiness that she took great pride in. She absolutely loved spending as much time as possible with her grandchildren. Lisa also enjoyed playing candy crush and any outdoor activities. She enjoyed feeding the birds and watching them fly around. Lisa was a huge Dallas Cowboys fan and cheered them on while watching every game they played. Most of all, Lisa loved spending any free moments with her grandchildren and making everlasting memories with them.

Lisa is preceded in death by her parents Ronnie Lynn Hanners and Myra Sue Hanners; and brother Jason Hanners.
