Linda Mae Sadler, 77, a former resident of Altus, Oklahoma, passed away on January 15, 2024, in Gracemont, Oklahoma surrounded by her loving family. Linda was born to Charlie and Lois Hughes on December 5, 1946, in Guymon, Oklahoma. She was raised and educated in Granite, Oklahoma. On June 2, 1962, in Wellington, Texas, Linda married Jerry Wayne Sadler. The Sadlers made their home in Mangum, Oklahoma they would be blessed with four children. She had various jobs in Mangum and Granite but found her calling at Walmart. She worked for Walmart for nineteen years before her retirement in 2009. Linda was incredibly gifted and creative, she expressed her creativity in her artwork. Her favorite way to express her feelings was through drawing and painting. She also enjoyed reading, but of all the things in the world she cherished spending time with her beloved family the most. Linda leaves a legacy of love and devotion that can only be found in a sister, wife, mother, and grandmother.
Linda is preceded in death by her parents; Husband, Jerry Wayne Sadler; Daughter, Paula (Sadler)
Thomas, and infant daughter, Deborah Ruth Sadler; and Seven Sisters.
Left to cherish her memory is her Daughter, Katrina Sadler Holle; Son, David Wayne Sadler; Brother, Jesse
Hughes; Sisters, Emma Gable, June Hughes, and Willie Flemmons; Grandchildren, Colby Bull, Colton Bull,
Chase Bull, and Cheyenne Trayler; Two great-grandchildren; and a host of extended family members and
friends.
