Services have been set for Lewie Orville Lee, age 70, of 1109 Davis, Altus, OK. Mr. Lee passed away early Saturday morning after a lengthy illness.
Services are set for Friday, January 27, 1984 at 11:00 A.M. in the Macedonia Baptist Church. The Reverend Marion Lee will be officiating. Burial will be in the Altus City Cemetery under the direction of Lowell Funeral Home.
Mr. Lee was born October 15, 1913 in Kansas and moved with his family to Altus when he was seven years old. He married Colene Stephens on February 12, 1946 in Altus. His family have been long time members of the Macedonia Baptist Church. Mr. Lee was associated for many years with Frazier's Exxon Station on North Main before his retirement.
Survivors include: his wife, Colene, of the home; one daughter, Roxie Roddy of Columbus, Ohio; six brothers, Wilbert Lee of Compton, CA, Carlos Lee of Norfolk, VA, Rev. Marion Lee of El Paso, TX, Rev. Chester Carter of Los Angeles, CA and Melvin Carter of Altus; one grandson, Ronnie Wilson of Wichita, KS; four granddaughters, Kathy Wilson of Wichita, KS, Carla Wilson of Altus, Lisa Roddy and Sheryl Roddy, both of Columbus, Ohio; one great-granddaughter, Latanya Wilson of the home in Altus; many nieces, nephews and other family members.
