Lester H. Drury, 76, of Olustee died Wednesday the 18th at Jackson County Memorial Hospital. Mr. Drury was born April 4, 1915 in Olustee to Don and Fannie Drury. On September 28, 1940 he married Eva Hestand in Olustee. Mr. Drury was a long time member of the Olustee Methodist Church. Mr. Drury was a Farmer which was his hobby as well as his occupation.
Services are scheduled for 2:00pm Friday at the Olustee Methodist Church with the Rev. Richard Phelps officiating. Burial will follow at the Olustee Cemetery. Lowell-Tims Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Drury is survived by his wife Eva of Olustee, Oklahoma; children, Jerry Drury and wife Jan of Altus, Oklahoma; Charlyn Carrell and husband Carlos, Olustee, Oklahoma; sister, Della Huls, of Tulsa, Oklahoma; grandchildren, Jason Drury, Altus, Oklahoma; Cindy Carrell, Olustee, Oklahoma; Cheryl Sheehan, Altus, Oklahoma; Cary Carrell. Olustee, Oklahoma; great-grandchildren; Amber Carrell, Olustee, Oklahoma; Chesiree Sheehan, Altus, Oklahoma; Cara Carrell, Quanah, Texas.
Mr. Drury was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, Lee and Levis Drury, and several sisters.
