Lena Cook Kellison age 90 passed away June 1, 2013 at the Grace Living Center in Mangum surrounded by her loving family and friend. Lena was born north of Gould on the farm to Thomas Wesley & Pearl Robertson Smith on July 11, 1922. After graduating from Reed High School, she married Harvey L. (Bill) Cook in 1940. They had two sons Kenneth L. & Larry Neal Cook. Lena met her savior at the age of 14. She was a loving mother and wife, in her free time she enjoyed helping her church family, friends, & neighbors, in any way they might need. She also worked for Duffer Motel & Restaurant for a couple of years. After the passing of her husband Bill Cook in 1985 and their 2 sons Kenneth & Larry, she married Jack Kellison in 1995. After living in Hollis Oklahoma, they moved back to Mangum and Jack was admitted to Grace Living Center in 2008 and Lena was then admitted to Grace Living Center shortly after his passing, until her passing on June 1, 2013.


Preceded in death by her parents Tom and Pearl Smith; three sisters, Juanita Scribbner, Loreta Rust Moore & Faye Cosby; two husbands, Jack Kellison & Bill Cook and two sons, Kenneth & Larry Cook.


Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m., Monday June 3, 2013, at The Trinity Baptist Church in Mangum with Pastor James Hopkins officiating and under the direction of Greer Funeral Home of Mangum. Interment will follow at Roselawn Cemetery, north of Mangum.
