Obituary for Lela Virginia Knox
Funeral services for Mrs. Lela Knox, age 80, of Blair, are set for 4:00 P.M., Wednesday, June 18, 1969 at the First Baptist Church in Blair, Oklahoma. Reverend Marshall Howard will officiate. Burial will be in Navajoe Cemetery under the direction of Lowell Funeral Home.

Mrs. Knox died early this morning at Jackson County Memorial Hospital. She was born September 6th, 1888 in Gloretta, NM and she came to Oklahoma in 1890 and was married to Mr. L.T. Knox in 1906. They have been long time residents of the Jackson County and Blair area.

Survivors include: her husband, L. T., of the home in Blair; two sons, C. J. of Altus and Roy of Blair; two daughters, Mrs. Norman Wilcox of Blair and Mrs. Dale Taylor of Lexington, Nebraska; one sister, Mrs. Willie Fritts of Altus; seven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren.
