Lee Roy Boatenhamer , of Vernon, Texas, died Saturday June9, 2018 in Vernon. He was born January 12, 1921 in Henrietta, Texas. To (the late) J.O. and Tinny Boatenhamer. He married (the late) Marie Burk October, 31, 1940. He is survived by, Donald and Rita Boatenhamer, Jerry and Kaye Boatenhamer and David and Dee Boatenhamer, 7 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren and 3 great great-grandchildren. He was a veteran of WWII, and served as a Department Manager of the Vernon Daily Record for 20 years, where he retired, and farmed the rest of his life. He was member of the Peace Lutheran Church. Family memorial service will be held at a later date.
