Leavy Gibson Shafner agej83, of Tipton, Oklahoma died July 9, 1964 in Frederick, Oklahoma. He was born April 23rd 1881 in Roger, Louisiana to D.D. Shafner. He came to Oklahoma in 1900.

Funeral services for Leavy Gibson Shafner are scheduled for July 11, 1964 at 10:00 am in the Church of Christ in Tipton, Oklahoma officiated by Wilbur Dennis. Burial will follow in the Tipton Cemetery under the direction of Tims Funeral Home.

Leavy Gibson Shafner is survived by one son Temple Shafner of Ponca City, Oklahoma; two grandsons; two brothers, D.D. Shafner, Norman, Oklahoma; V.L. Shafner, Texas.
