Leamon Ray Scruggs, 69, of Altus, Oklahoma, passed away Saturday, August 23, 2014.

A time of gathering and burial will be held on Thursday, August 28, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. at the Blair Cemetery.

Leamon Ray Scruggs was born on April 6, 1945 in Fort Worth Texas to Leamon Robert Scruggs and Ruth Farmer Scruggs. On March 30, 1979. "Ray" married Pooran Mirhafari in Las Vegas, Nevada. Ray worked in management for Lockheed Martin for many years. This allowed him and his family to live in many locations. Ray enjoyed camping around the United States with the family, fly fishing and aviation.

Ray is survived by his wife, Pooran of the home in Altus; two sons, Cyrus Michael Scruggs of Altus and Sam Robert Scruggs of California; one daughter Roxanne Mahrou Scruggs of Altus. He was preceded in death by his parents Leamon and Ruth.
