Lawrence F. "Pete" Baker was born January 5, 1916 in Harrison County Indiana to Edward and Alice (Pellman) Baker. He died April 20, 1966 at his home in Altus, Oklahoma. Pete had been a resident of Altus since 1957. He served in World War II, Korean Conflict, retiring as a Tech Sgt.
Mr. Baker is survived by his wife, Carrie of the home in Altus, Oklahoma; two daughters, Brenda Ann Baker, Altus, Oklahoma; Rebecca Jo Kisk, Altus, Oklahoma; one brother, George E. Baker, New Albany Indiana; four sisters, Erma Adkins, Birdseye, Indiana; Miss Mary Baker, Locnia, Indiana; Carrie reader, Elizabeth, Indiana; Alice Decker, Elizabeth, Indiana.
