Obituary for Lawanda June Christian
Lawanda June Christian, age 81, went to her heavenly home on November 22, 2020. Lawanda was born on March 23, 1939, in Westmoreland, California to Floyd and Edna (Boggs) Wilhite. The family moved back to Oklahoma when LaWanda was about 4 or 5. SHe attended all 12 grades at Arnett School, near Hollis. She was married to John Lee and they had two children, Delisha Shawn and Loren Wade. Wanda has lived 14 years in Altus, Oklahoma.
Lawanda is survived by a sister Diane Wilhite - Johnson of Edmond, Oklahoma, daughter Delisha and husband Steve Pothorst of Duke, OKlahoma and son Loren Wade Lee, as well a nephew and several nieces.
Lawanda is preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Terry Wilhite.
Graveside services will be held at 2.p.m. Friday, November 27, 2020, at O.M. Cemetery north of Hollis, Oklahoma.
Funeral services have been entrusted to Lowell - Tims Funeral Home, Altus, Oklahoma.
