Obituary for Kimberly Lane Dennis
Kimberly Lane Dennis, age 58 of Hollis, Oklahoma, passed away Monday, October 25, 2021 at OU Medical Center in Oklahoma City.
Kimberly was born in Hollis on September 21, 1963 to her parents Bill Hair and Patricia (Jarvis) Hair. She was raised in Hollis and was a proud graduate from the Class of 1981 from Hollis High School. On September 6, 1981 Kimberly married Harold Mark Dennis and they have enjoyed over forty years of marriage together. She went on to earn an Associates Degree in Applied Health Science in 1985 from Sayre Junior College. Later Kimberly earned a Bachelor's Degree in Registered Health Information Management in 2019 from Southwestern Oklahoma State University. She worked as a Labratory Technician and Supervisor at Jackson County Memorial Hospital, Tricore Reference Laboratories at LCMC in Ruidoso, New Mexico, Childress Regional Medical Ceneter, and at the Harmon Memorial Hospital in Hollis. Her career in health care spanned over thirty-five years and she took great pride in her work and Kimberly always went the extra mile. She was a member of the Hollis First Baptist Church where she taught
Sunday School and led Vacation Bible School for many years.
Kim enjoyed, fishing and camping, skiing, spending time with family and especially her grand-daughters, horse races with Mark, playing cards, helping others, being a wife and a mom, mowing the yard, and entertaining and hosting family get-togethers. Kimberly loved her family
and she will be missed very much.
Kimberly is survived by her husband, Harold Mark Dennis of their home in Hollis; her father, Bill Hair and wife Christi of Blair; mother-in-law, Lavanda Sue Dennis of Hollis; her four children; Joshua Dennis; Hunter Dennis and Dacie Kyle of Hollis; Jayden Dennis of Capitan, New Mexico; and Lindsey Adams and husband Dustin of Hollis; three sisters, Sherri Powell and husband Kyle of Okmulgee, Oklahoma; Cassie Hart and Perry Welch of Pawnee, Oklahoma; and Kodi Hair of Moore, Oklahoma; three grand-daughters, Paisley Rae, Berkley Lane, and Laramey Ann Adams all of Hollis; uncle Jon Bart Rollins of Hollis; Aunt Elizabeth Metcalf of Hobart, Oklahoma; Aunt Linda Edwards of Tucson, Arizona; and aunt Doris Bell of Lindale, Texas; as well as numerous nieces and nephews, other family members, and many friends.
Kimberly was preceded in death by her father-in-law, Harold Gene Dennis in 2005 and her mother, Patricia Jarvis Ford in 2007.
