Kevin Hawkins, age 71, of Mangum, Oklahoma, was born on April 5, 1954, in Mangum and graduated from Mangum High School. He passed away on January 1, 2026, at Mangum Hospital.
Kevin was a proud Mangum native who loved his hometown and the people in it. He was a devoted fan of OU football and especially cherished the time he spent with his family, which brought him his greatest joy.
He is survived by his wife, Doe Hawkins; his sister, Signe Heatly, and her husband Ralph Heatly of Edmond, Oklahoma; his daughter, Karly Banker, and her husband Kevin Banker of Mangum; his son, Brad Hawkins of New Mexico; and his stepdaughter, Salah Duffer-Deas of Blair.
Kevin also leaves behind his grandchildren, Alyson Gifford, Alex Hawkins, and Taylor Banker, all of Mangum, and Clayley Hawkins of New Mexico; his step-grandchildren, Hannah Ledford and James Deas; as well as four great-grandchildren, all of whom he loved dearly.
Kevin will be remembered for his love of family, his loyalty to OU football, and the quiet presence he held among those who knew and loved him
