Obituary for Kenneth Chambers
Kenneth J. Chambers, age 65, died Monday night at Jackson County Memorial Hospital after a short illness. He was a retired Civil Service worker at Altus Air Force Base.
Survivors include: his wife, Gerri Chambers of the home in Altus; three daughters, Trina Chambers of Lawton, Nan Chambers of Dallas, Texas and Darla Tyrone of Cache, OK. He is also survived by three step-children, Candy Richardson of Altus, Randy Woolbright of Waurika, OK and Binky Woolbright of Geronimo, OK; three sisters, Juanita Lovett and Dorothy Ware, both of Altus and Jean Gray and husband Cary of Hemphill, TX.
He was preceded in death by: his mother and father, Ben and Maggie Chambers; three brothers, Hamilton Chambers, Edward Chambers and Alvin Chambers; one sister, Oleta Powers.
Graveside Services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, August 3, 1994 at the Altus City Cemetery with Bill Osborne officiating. Burial will follow under the direction of Lowell Tims Funeral Home.
