Karen Rena' Barfield Bomboy, age 46 of Headrick, passed away early Thursday morning, October 13, 2005 at Jackson County Memorial Hospital.
Rena' was born on November 6, 1958 to Ollie Dural and Nina Charlene (Smith) Landford in Childress, Texas. A member of the First Baptist Church of Headrick, Rena' loved painting, crocheting, needlework, embroidering, gardening and spending time with her family who loved her dearly.
She is survived by ;her parents, Dural and Charlene Lankford of Childress, Texas; three children, Starla Klein and husband Michael of Martha, Oklahoma, Forrest Barfield and Elliott Bomboy both of Headrick, Oklahoma; two sisters, Durlene Worthington and husband Joe of Childress, Texas and Brenda Nations and husband Dickie of Erick, Oklahoma; two grandchildren, Lillian Klein and Rylan Klein of Martha and numerous loving aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and many, many friends. She was preceded in death by her grandparents.
Funeral services for Karen Rana' Barfield Bomboy are scheduled for Saturday, October 15, 2005 at 2 pm at the First Baptist Church in Headrick with Rev. Dan Lambert and Rev. Jim Flynn officiating. Interment will follow in the Headrick Cemetery under the direction of Lowell-Tims Funeral Home.
