Obituary for Justin Coots
Justin Coots, age 47 of Hollis, Oklahoma, passed away on Sunday, August 7, 2022 at Saint Anthony's Hospital in Oklahoma City.
Justin was born in Sayre, Oklahoma on March 27, 1975 to his parents Farrel Lynn "Pete" Coots and Mary Frances (Sumpter) Coots. Justin was raised in Reydon, Oklahoma and later the family moved to Alabama where Justin graduated from Double Springs High School, Class of 1993. After high school, Justin attended some college and then he worked many years in the oil field and later he worked drilling water wells for Faulks Drilling. Justin enjoyed cooking and grilling, he was the life of the party and a jokester, always trying to cause trouble and there was never a dull moment with Justin around. He was a jack of all trades and could fix anything. Justin enjoyed listening to music and playing his guitar, drums and piano. Justin loved all his family very much and he always enjoyed spending time with his daughters.
Justin's antics and humor will be missed very much by his family and friends.
Preceded in death by his grandparents and his mother, Mary Frances Coots; Justin is survived by his father, Pete Coots and Robin of Reydon, Oklahoma; his two daughters, Aleena Olive of Oklahoma City and Kaylie Coots of Hollis; his four sisters, Cherie Vasquez and husband Johnny of Hollis; Amanda Coots of Hollis; Lindsay Lara of Pennsylvania; and Alisha Hillis and husband Jonathon of Hollis; his step-brother, Patrick Patterson and wife Nicole of Hollis; numerous nieces and nephews, other family members, and many friends.
Viewing hours will be on Thursday, August 11, 2022, from 1:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Harmon County Funeral Home in Hollis.
Funeral services will be at 2:00 pm on Friday, August 12, 2022 at the Harmon County Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Joe Cantu officiating.
Arrangements are under the direction of Harmon County Funeral Home, Hollis, Oklahoma.
